Sourcing & qualification
Direct relationships with mines, processors and recyclers. Producers are qualified on reserve quality, plant capability and consistency. Visited and audited, not picked from a directory.
Source · Specify · Ship · Deliver
Fifteen years of commercial leadership in industry-leading minerals companies, most recently carrying full P&L for a 300,000-tonne-a-year feldspar operation. I source, specify and deliver industrial minerals, cementitious by-products, polymers and temperature-controlled food, and I stay accountable from the quarry face to your unloading bay.
The full value chain
A trader quotes the price. A lab checks the quality. A forwarder books the freight. A broker clears customs. A bank structures the paper. When those are five separate parties, every gap between them becomes your risk. Each one points at another when material lands off-spec or late. I run the chain end to end, so accountability never changes hands.

Your body or batch formulation translated into a grade a producer can actually hold. Sampling protocols agreed up front, XRF and XRD verification, certificates checked against contract tolerances before loading.
Contracts drafted with the failure modes in mind: Incoterms matched to who can genuinely control the risk, tolerance and rejection clauses that mean something, payment structured to protect both sides.
Big bags, bulk, containers, reefer and road groupage. Packing chosen for the material's moisture and handling behaviour, and freight priced into the offer rather than negotiated afterwards.
HS classification, preferential origin, REACH and food-contact documentation, health and phytosanitary certificates, all prepared before departure rather than after the truck is standing at the border.
Arrival inspection, quality reconciliation against the shipped certificate, claims pursued to settlement, plus call-off stock so material lands against your production plan rather than the vessel's schedule.
Materials
Four lines. Minerals and by-products keep production running; the recycled and secondary lines put proven material back to work at lower cost and a lower embodied carbon figure.

Technical grounding
Head of Sales for a 300,000-tonne-a-year feldspar operation, and eight years before that selling fifteen-plus minerals into ceramics, glass, paint, welding, cement and engineered stone. That is why a quotation from me starts with whether the grade will run on your line, and what it will do to your body recipe, your firing curve or your setting time.
A cheap tonne that shifts your firing shrinkage by half a percent is the most expensive tonne you will ever buy. Operating principle
Logistics
Logistics is where margin quietly disappears: in demurrage, in a rejected document, in a liner bag that let moisture into a kaolin shipment. I plan the movement at the same time as the purchase, so the delivered cost is a number in the offer rather than an argument after arrival.
Reach
Working from Muğla and Barcelona puts me on both sides of the Mediterranean, inside the producing region and inside the European market at the same time. Same time zone as the quarry, same working week as the customer.
Experience
Not fifteen years of broking on the side. Fifteen years of carrying revenue, pricing authority and P&L inside companies that set the standard in industrial minerals. Feldspar is where it started, and it is still the material I know best.
Trading raw materials and building the logistics around them. Sourcing, freight and delivery are handled as a single scope for industrial clients rather than as separate services.
Full commercial ownership of a feldspar operation moving 300,000 tonnes a year, reporting directly to the Group CEO with P&L and pricing authority. Grew revenue 10% year on year, opened three new country markets, and put more than twenty new clients onto long-term contracts, all while running the logistics chain from mine face to port to customer.
Eight and a half years at one of Türkiye's leading industrial minerals producers. Built a territory from roughly $10M to $19M a year, selling a portfolio of fifteen-plus minerals (feldspar, quartz, ball clay, halloysite, kaolin, zirconium silicate, dolomite, calcite) into ceramics, glass, paint, welding, cement and engineered stone across EMEA.
Opened cosmetics and life sciences as entirely new sectors for the company, extended the supply chain with warehouses in the Netherlands, Germany and France, and owned the export cycle end to end: quotations, sourcing, quality, documentation and collections.
Working together
The right structure depends on where your risk sits and how much of the chain you want to keep in house.
I hold and deliver the material. One contract, one invoice, one point of recourse, planned around your production schedule.
You contract the producer directly. I act as your sourcing arm, finding the grade, qualifying the plant and managing execution.
Specification, substitution and supply chain advice. Useful before you commit volume, and when a current grade has started misbehaving.
Material already bought. I take over freight, packing, documentation, customs and delivery as a standalone scope.
Contact
Send the material, grade, volume and destination. You will get a considered reply within one business day, including an honest answer if it is not something I should be handling.
